Key responsibilities and task

As an intern in International Development at Hippotainer, you will engage in tasks aimed at exploring the NGO and Humanitarian Aid sector. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting insight research to identify potential opportunities for our mobile farming concept within NGO and humanitarian aid projects.
  • Analyzing the specific needs and challenges faced by NGOs and humanitarian aid organizations, particularly in the context of food provision during crises or in camps.
  • Meeting NGO representatives to gather insights and feedback on our mobile farming units in humanitarian contexts. Engaging with stakeholders and potential partners to foster beneficial relationships.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of Hippotainer’s solutions in addressing these challenges, and suggesting improvements or new approaches tailored to the humanitarian sector.
  • Collaborating with Hippotainer team members to develop strategic plans and proposals based on your research findings.

What we ask

  • A passion for sustainable development and enhancing global food security.
  • Field of study in International Development Studies is a plus, but other fields of study are also welcome to apply.
  • Proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey findings and recommendations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
